Tricia Blosser
Goshen Christian Montessori School
Director and Primary Teacher

Tricia found her love of teaching in 1996 when she began teaching dance in downtown Goshen. She started working as an assistant at Michiana Christian Montessori in late 1998, and very soon realized the joy of being a proponent of positive change in young lives.

Tricia studied Montessori independently before taking formal training through North American Montessori Training Center while working under Mrs. Asenavage, the AMI certified lead guide at Michiana Christian Montessori School and has enjoyed serving in Montessori schools ever since.

Tricia still teaches dance classes for children ages 3-7 through Goshen Parks' Dance in the City program, is on the Pastoral Team with her husband, Jeff, at Thrive: A Church Family, has a black belt in Taekwondo, and loves to read, play games, ride her bike, and prepare delicious and nutritious things to eat. She especially loves Earl Grey tea, dark chocolate, farm fresh veggies, and artisan bread.

Myriah Brown
Goshen Christian Montessori School
Toddler Teacher

Myriah began her love for the Montessori method in 2000, when she observed Tricia's class of content and concentrating students. She began assisting in the Primary classroom that year at Michiana Christian Montessori School. Myriah also trained at Midwest Montessori Teacher Training Center in 2001 and is also in training for the Toddler training at NAMC.

Myriah has expanded her Montessori experience even in her home, where she creates a Casa de Bambini (Children's House) for her own children.

Myriah also enjoys creating felt food, sewing cute clutches, and leather slippers, building her Etsy business (TheCurryKid), running, and caring for her three children.
Nadia Shank
Goshen Christian Montessori School
Primary Teacher

Nadia has more than 20 years of experience in the field of education. In 2015 she returned to Goshen after 15 years of living in Chicago. The bulk of her Chicago career was spent in two different schools on the city’s southwest side teaching grades K – 4; Chicago Mennonite Learning Center and Zizumbo School (a member of the UNO Charter School Network).

After her daughter, Ella, was born in 2011 she spent 15 months as a stay-at-home parent before finding work as a nanny to 3 Chicago-area families. A summer at Chicago’s Adler Planetarium, a school year as paraprofessional in Concord Community School’s special education program, and nearly 3 years teaching Pre-K at Growing Kids Goshen round out her teaching experiences.

Nadia is currently finishing her training in Montessori with NAMC and is delighted to be a member of the Goshen Christian Montessori community. In her free time she loves to cook, read and collect books, shop at Target, and sip on Electric Brew and Starbucks concoctions.

Sarah Horst
Goshen Christian Montessori School
Primary Assistant Teacher

Sarah started her interest in Montessori during the three years that her son was a student of Tricia’s. She has a Master’s degree in Social Work and she still does social work from time to time. She has always enjoyed spending time with children and is looking forward to this new chapter in world changing.

Sarah enjoys spending time with friends and her two children, as well as reading, knitting and crocheting. In her spare time she also enjoys camping, visiting with out of town family, playing games, and walking their dog, Bella. Sarah doesn’t eat gluten or dairy, but loves dark chocolate, bacon, fresh veggies, and kombucha.
