Tricia Blosser
Goshen Christian Montessori School
Founding Director

Tricia found her love of teaching at a young age. She started working as an assistant at Michiana Christian Montessori in the late 90s, and very soon realized the joy of being a proponent of positive change in the world.

Tricia studied Montessori independently and took formal training through North American Montessori Center (NAMC) while working under Mrs. Asenavage, the AMI certified lead guide at Michiana Christian Montessori School.

Tricia also taught dance classes for children ages 3-7 through the Goshen Parks Department.  She is the youth group leader for her church (Thrive Church Family).  She has a black belt in Taekwondo, and loves learning new languages (primarily in computer programming), reading, playing games, biking, and preparing delicious and nutritious things to eat. She especially loves tea, dark chocolate, farm fresh veggies, cheeses, and artisan bread.

Myriah Brown
Goshen Christian Montessori School

Myriah began her love for the Montessori method in 2000 when she began assisting in the Primary classroom at Michiana Christian Montessori School.  She has taught Montessori preschool since that time. Myriah trained at Midwest Montessori Teacher Training Center in 2001 and has also completed the Toddler Teacher Certification at North American Montessori Center (NAMC).

Myriah has expanded her Montessori experience even in her home, where she creates a Casa de Bambini (Children's House) for her own children.

Myriah enjoys making amazing savory and sweet dishes and drinks, creating amazing crafty things for her Etsy business (TheCurryKid), and spending time exploring beautiful places with her husband Tristan and 3 children.
Nadia Shank
Goshen Christian Montessori School

Nadia has more than 20 years of experience in the field of education. In 2015 she returned to Goshen after 15 years of living in Chicago. The bulk of her Chicago career was spent in two different schools on the city’s southwest side teaching grades K – 4: Chicago Mennonite Learning Center and Zizumbo School (a member of the UNO Charter School Network).

After her daughter, Ella, was born in 2011 she spent 15 months as a stay-at-home parent before finding work as a nanny to 3 Chicago-area families. A summer at Chicago’s Adler Planetarium, a school year as paraprofessional in Concord Community School’s special education program, and nearly 3 years teaching Pre-K at Growing Kids Goshen round out her teaching experiences.

Nadia has her certification of Primary Teacher from North American Montessori Center (NAMC) and is delighted to be a member of the Goshen Christian Montessori community. In her free time she loves to cook, read and collect books, shop at Target, and sip on Electric Brew and Starbucks concoctions.
